Michigan Campaign Finance Network's Analysis Of Senate Bill 335

The following document was written by Craig Mauger, executive director of the Michigan Campaign Finance Network, about Senate Bill 335, which was introduced on April 27. It would allow Michigan candidates to solicit unlimited contributions to Super PACs that support the candidates and are supposed to be independent. Also, it would allow Super PACs to share common vendors with the candidate committees.

The Senate Elections and Government Reform Committee voted 4-0 to send the bill to the full Senate on May 4.
