19TH HOUSE DISTRICT (A portion of Wayne County)

Current representative: The current representative for the 19th District is Rep. Laura Cox (R-Livonia). The district features the city of Livonia. For the 2017-2018 session, Cox, a former Wayne County commissioner, is chair of the House Appropriations Committee, which shapes the House's state budget proposal. She was an Appropriations Committee member during the 2015-2016 session
