30TH SENATE DISTRICT (Ottawa County)

Current representative: Sen. Arlan Meekhof (R-West Olive) is the current senator for the 30th District. Meekhof is the Senate majority leader for 2015-2018. Previously, he was the Senate majority floor leader. According to the Senate Republicans, Meekhof served four years in the Michigan House of Representatives in the 89th District from 2007-2010 before joining the Senate.

Meekhof raises money through a candidate committee, Arlan B. Meekhof for State Senate and three leadership PACs. The leadership PACs are Moving Michigan Forward I, Moving Michigan Forward II and Meekhof Senate PAC. Another PAC, Moving Michigan Forward, dissolved in 2017. Moving Michigan Forward I launched in 2017. He also has an administrative account, the Meekhof Administrative Account.
