28TH SENATE DISTRICT (A portion of Kent County)

Current senator: The current senator for the 28th District is Sen. Peter MacGregor (R-Rockford). The district includes Rockford, Grandville, Byron Twp., Sparta Twp., Walker and Wyoming. MacGregor is a member of the Banking and Financial Services and Commerce committees and is the vice chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee. According to the Senate Republicans, MacGregor previously served four years in the Michigan House of Representatives.
