49TH HOUSE DISTRICT (A portion of Genesee County)

Current representative: The current representative for the 49th District is Rep. Phil Phelps (D-Flushing). The district includes the cities of Flushing, Mount Morris and Swartz Creek, part of the city of Flint and Flint and Mount Morris townships. During the 2015-2016 session, he was a member of the Communications and Technology and Health Policy committees. He was first elected in 2013.
