Current representative: The current representative for the 78th District is Rep. Dave Pagel (R-Oronoko Twp.). The districts covers portions of Berrien and Cass counties, including the cities Niles, New Buffalo and Buchanan, according to House Republicans. Pagel is a member of the House Appropriations Committee. He was first elected to the House in 2012.
